Good question. Extend that a bit to 2 solids and one stripe drop on the break. Since there was no establishment of stripes and solids, does the opponent get 1 or 2 for their score?Curious what would happen if 2 solids were sunk on the break instead of 1 of each?
Open table, has to be 10-0.
Can’t reward a player for doing nothing.
That would absolutely suck, but it’s not relevant here, because at that point, suits would have been determined…See it would really chap your butt if you ran the table and scratched after you made the 8. Score is 10-7 . You are the 7.
As for you vnea refs I have had to explain the rules to a few of you so......
If player A has 1 suit player B has the other...
In the op's case dont you imagine the loser who sank the 8 wants credit for 1 ball ? 10 to 1
And you would still be wrong.the game is over.. the table is STILL open nobody has a suit...
they fouled resulting of loss of game on an open table..
re read the original post .... then answer Who is stripes? and who is solids?.. A or B???
now say its 2 stripes and 1 solid down on the break ...same scenario open table does the offender get 1 or 2 points?
I say its zero in both situations
