Vote for Austin Murphy

It's pointless to respond to this guy. I reported his comments to the Moderators. Hopefully they'll get rid of him.

You only reported it? Write it down, take a picture for all I care.

If the moderaters were to "get rid" of me, it would be the worst thing they could do for this forum. Someone needs to be the person that calls out the ridiculous, it seems lately around here im the only one to do it. Its like visiting crazy town around here sometimes, even when you guys agree with me (atleast twice I think ive heard well....you right about austin, he can't compete with the top men....but hey stop saying that! Its JUST INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you thick enough to actually think that the issue here is your thoughts on AM's game?????

If that is the case then you are really a moron......

You lack tact, taste, and few other desirable traits.....bozo....

Hey, aren't you the same guy that got like 10 pages of "your'e an idiot" responses (and not one supporter) in the thread you started where you were complaining about how the "people in the know about action" try to look like bigshots by using all that advanced gambling "slang" and by referring to people by nicknames?

You know, the one you complained about where they were talking about how Scooter (the ONLY name he goes by and most don't even know what his real name is) was getting the four out (there goes that really obscure gambling terminology that only the "in the know" people have ever heard...lol) from another player in their gambling session?

Yup, I'd say that about explains it all.

I have posted on here before about Austin. Although I think he needs to grow up a little, there is no doubt he can play with the best.

Hey Rich,

Thanks for looking out for me. I too believe that a good education is very important. My dad would not have let me start this thread or play in the challenge match if I was not doing well in school. I just got my report card a week ago and had straight A's. I'm intersted in attending UCLA, Stanford or Yale.

I am putting half of the prize money I win in pool into CD's, stocks and mutual funds. I will use this for my college education.

Austin
Austin,

I am very happy to hear that you are doing well in school and you have plans for a good college education. This is very rare in this sport, as I'm sure you already know.
I wish you all of the luck in the world, but I still can't, with a clear mind, support your interest in playing in this challenge match.
I'm very sorry. I just wish you were a little bit older.

In any case, regardless of how this turns out, I wish you luck in your future.

At there you have it Runout...
That is everything your posts missed

Austin, I admire your drive, abilities, and priorities. Don't mind naysayers. I've seen kids your age play in some big money golf games and pool is no exception.

Khodjaeva Kamila, 13, and her 11-year-old sister are ranked #1 and #2 women in Belgium.

And who can forget when Wu Chia Ching won the World Pool Championships?

I voted for him. He's 18th now on the list. As for some of the deragotory comments against him and his ability of two ago. When your game is developing and changing for the better, (ie. more seasoning) he has some good standings against the big guns in pool and I for one would love to see a challenge match of his.

Its just a shame he couldn't do any of that when it actually counted. That like a bar bangers excuse, I haven't played in a while, dude are you serious????

Ps the fact that he cant play with the best is not an opinion bozo its a fact.

Wow.... you're an asshole. My guess is that Austin would refelt the table with your ***** ass

just to echo i think RunoutalloverU's comments are way out of order. What's wrong with, "I'm sorry Austin, but I don't think you're good enough yet for me to vote for you in this match. Maybe in a few years!"

or a billion other ways you could have said it. Instead you rudely take the piss out of a TWELVE year old kid's results on one of the biggest most prestigious pool tournaments ever held.

All he did was post a perfectly polite thread asking if people could vote for him. He went out of his way in his original post to be polite, and you went out of your way to collect his stats to be a twat to a 14 year old.

You're an arse mate.

Also, yes we all know there were a lot of 'undeserving' players in the IPT - the idea was though that was just the starting lot. if it had have worked out, after a few tournaments the weaker players would have dropped out because the results wouldn't have been good enough. The full player roster then was just the starter roster.

Two points to make here;

1) the ipt challenge match WILL be a result of a popularity contest, not a match between the best players. If it were, thorsten would be playing efren, period. (since they each won the 2 full filed ipt events). Like it or not, the peoples votes will decide the contestants, therefore, ANY prior ipt competitor is not only eligible to be voted for, but under the circumstances, would be warranted.

2) run out, you are a very poor example of how an adult should conduct themselves. As was stated, there were other, more responsible ways of making your point. Unfortunately, you chose to express yourself like an uneducated, unsuccesful and envious person. Your blatant jealousy of Austin is noted by all. That you try to obfuscate this by "screaming" that you're compelled to voice your reasoned opinion doesn't mitigate your vile molestation of this childs dignity. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

Good luck to you Austin. Just remember to surround yourself with positive examples of humanity.

Thanks

Thanks everybody for sticking up for me. I'm hoping by tonight I should be around sixteenth place right behind Danny Basavich. At that rate, by the time the challenge match comes around I'll be extremely close if not in the match.************* Austin

Austin I played with you and some of the other young guns recently in Reno. (a wild 8 man ring game!)

You shoot a excellent game of pool and are only going to get better.

I wish I had the same opportunity as you to play when I was 14...:-}

You have good head on your shoulders and no doubt will be a champion someday.

you got another vote

You've really jumped the last few days! I just gave you my 2 votes for today but your percentage only went from 3.09 to 3.10. You're going to need a whole lot more to get there, but we're pulling for you! Good Luck
