When Jim Valvano was coaching at NC State somebody asked him the difference between NYC and North Carolina.

He said in NYC if you ask somebody for the time they'll say "What the #### do I look like, Big Ben?"

In North Carolina they say "Oh you poor boy, you've broken your watch. Let me take you home and cook you supper"

Hey Jenn, Got my vote, sorry I missed the weekends fun at Nash. One of the gals stayed here in NC and watched her play races to 11 last night for $1000 a set. IT WAS COOL TO WATCH HER BEAT SOME OF THE HOMEBOYS!!

Good story, Wally...and very true. I got a flat tire while I was out there, and one of the local officers put my spare on for me! That would never, ever happen in New York.

Hey...thanks to all of you out there who took the time to get on ESPN.com and vote! well, our 'Vixen of the Velvet' (yeah, i'm gonna TM that) did not advance...THIS year. however, i'm sure one the upcoming shots from, oh, Stuff, Maxim, GQ, etc, will be used for her next year, and it's done deal, she'll kick a__ :D

Ok Jen-

I have no problem saying this (mainly because you don't know who I am). You are gorgeous and you are quite sexy as well. And, maybe I'm alone here, but I also find a woman who can control a pool table damn sexy! So hats off to you.

Here's my question. I saw this on another thread somewhere but I'm way too lazy to go looking for it again. Who do you think is sexy on the women's tour?

By the way, how's this for bad luck. I spend just about every night of my life playnig out of Diamond Jim's in Rockland County New York. One night, you played in a tournament there. And, as luck would have it, I wasn't there that night. I was home, sick. DAMMIT!

Anyway, just wondered what your thoughts were.
