Best Tips For Less
Silver Member
I am hoping to put to rest if the HH should come to market. Reports (limited) as of now have seemed favorable.

If I do, any color preferance for print?

Put a couple hours on it today
Hits really well, still not quite as hard as the kamui black,
But I think that this is a good"hard" tip

My personal feelings are that you should start selling this tip but,
Re label the hardness on them to reflect the "actual" hardness.
Eg:
To me the original soft Shoukd be a ss
Med Shoukd be soft, hard should be med and the HH should be hard....
Just my opinion, but I do like the HH prototype I tried out :)

I think it would be a lot easier for Kamui to relabel there Tips.

Hi Tom, Sorry i haven't put a report in as of yet.As you know i didn't receive the tip.I did press a hard the same way Cuejo said he pressed his hard tip and i liked it a lot.Not as hard as my regular tips (hercules xtra deluxe x tips) but pretty nice.I can get tons of spin and there's pretty good feedback from it.Hopefully you can go into production on the HH and i can try them and maybe tweak them a little.Anyhow i love your tips, best out there and the price is right. Thanks Tom.......Rick.

Rick, I don't know what happened. 5 other people did not recieve the sample sent and from the same mailing I had about 3 customers that did not recieve orders. They came out okay as I was able to resend but the samples, only had so many so could not resend.

I have to go to Jacksonville on business with my old company later today for a couple of days. It sounds positive enough to make it a go and I promise on day ready your tip will leave first envelope first morning. I had given up on CueJo getting his as they all left 2nd weekend of September.

Maybe the Dogs caught the Mailmen and ate them?

CueJo, Blue it shall be than. The HH will now be known as CueJoBlue

Sweet :)
Send me out a bunch when they're ready!

Tom, I suggest since your brand is UltraSkin the names of most soft and most hard of your line could be UltraSoft and UltraHard (to be different from Morakami line indexing, for instance ;))

CueJo, thanks for your hardness "rating" of US's.

LOL, where were you before I went to the printers???? Thats a great idea, maybe I can work it out in the future. Thanks.

HH UltraSkin

The HH Ultra Skin should definately be put on the market..Anyone that wants a hard tip to shoot with will love these..I was reading about some not being delivered, I got mine, tested it, LOVED it! It's definately in the top of my preferences for a hard tip now, really good ball control for a hard tip....

this is kinda funny, my take on the medium tips is that they seemed on the hard end of the medium scale. this is compared to the thomas medium and also the wizard medium. does anybody have the durometer/hardness ratings on these tips? i think it would really help us out to say the hardness of the medium is similar to _____ tips.

thanks,
louis

Louis,

The hardness test will tell you very little about how one tip plays compared to another. It will show you if the Tip is consistent with itself.

Please think about this for a second. Lets say the Shore Hardness you played best with was 76. Does this mean any tip that tested at 76 would play the same?

What about after impact from playing say, 20 racks?

The thing I am in hopes I conquered is say the Tip was soft or hard for you? The Cue Repair person can afford to put on a tip free without going into pocket and losing money.

For the record I sell 3 of the Medium silvers to 1 of any of the others. My Card hand is full there will not be a 5th tip.
