Walmat tip scuffers

I went to the Billiards asle in Walmart and found a package of 2 tip scuffers by Sportcraft for $1.28. I figured I would try them and if they were junk I had little to lose.
They seem to work just fine. They are the kind that roughs up and shapes the tip.

With SportCraft cues, chalk, and now tip scuffers, we could be on to something!

Sportcraft chalk & scuffers are made by Kamui under the Sportcraft name.
I'll bring my Kamui scuffer to Hanks so you can try it and write a review.

A while ago I found some tube 1x1 cases at the dollar store, my son uses it, pretty good case for a buck. Those same cases are at least $10 anywhere else I've seen.

Been kicking myself that I did not buy them out to resell.

Let's be honest; there's a massive mark-up on all pool gear, and will be for as long as we're sappy enough to keep buying it.

I've taken to using a 3M product for tip scuffing. This is a sanding block (in various grits) that's sponge rubber inside. This allows you to do some fine tuning on your tip without fears of overdoing it.

Most hardware stores carry the stuff. I like medium grit and then fine. I also splurged for the Kamui scuffer, but find I don't use it much.

willard may be better,but these work pretty good for a $1.28 and keeping the Chinese employed.
