looks like a pretty old cue, i bought it from the guy that does my work, i traded him a mcdermott for it, its my girlfriend's playing cue now because its shorter than the average 58'' cue and thinner as well.

i was wondering if any of you guys know anything about this cue, it looks like a Brunswick X Dufferin collaboration, the Brunswick logo at the bottom is done exactly the way Dufferin do thiers on house cues...

Dufferin did make some cues for Brunswick in the 1980's. I totally agree that this appears to be one of them, as you have stated by the Joint, and the Brunswick emblem. The quality of the woods, finish and the inlays certainly are too good for the products coming out of Taiwan during the time frame this cue was made.

I never liked the joint on Dufferin cues from that time, but they did hit OK. In addition the shaft-wood was also decent since it was coming from Canada and from Dufferin.

Have a good night!!

Dufferin Cue

I would say that it is a Dufferin made cue from the late 80s. It is close to Dufferins Tournament cue that was produced up until about 1997.

i think its an import. your mcdermott was worth more but if you like it thats all that matters

You're right - imported from Canada

does anyone else have some input? all i can say is, valueable or not, this cue has one of the best hits ive ever had. i woulda gotten it for myself if it were more fitting to me. great hit indeed. the mcdermott i traded was only worth 220 retail so i dont mind, it had a messed up shaft and messed up linen wrap anyway
