Want to see a wrapless mottey

I only use wrapless cues and am thinking about a mottey after I save the cash. Just wanna see some pics of wrapless motteys, I did a search and nothing really came up but I'm sure he had to have made some.

I don't think I have ever seen one....not that I remember anyway. None of the cues in his old brochures that I have are without a wrap.

I would love to see one myself.

There's a guy selling an 8 point, wrapless James White right now. And James worked out of Paul's shop for a loooooong time. Might be the next best thing.

I have three...Ill take some pics and show you. I also sold on here a while ago, and it was recently for sale again, a solid Cocobolo Mottey with a wrapless EBONY handle, unchalked with fancy ivory rings and 2 shafts. I basically had to give it away before anyone here jumped on it but it was SWEEEEEEET:thumbup:

No problem.
I've owned a few James Whites and a few Motteys. Play-wise, they're essentially the same cue. I'd bet money the majority of the work done on the Motteys I owned was done by James.

He makes and AWESOME cue.

Yeah ive been watching that set, I want it bad, I can't have that much cash to go on a cue til about may though, couple other projects.

Although I did not buy this cue from you direct. Must have got it from who
you sold it to. I am the proud owner of this Paul Mottey now. It has a very
beautiful piece of Cocobolo, with an Ebony handle. Ivory rings above and
below the wrap. Really make this cue. Stunning but simple.

here is a pic of a wrapless mottey that belonged to a friend of mine.. and has been long since sold...

unfortunatly, you cant see much of the handle.. because the pics are cut in half..

but you get a good idea.. the handle was entirely amboyna burl...

it was a super sweet cue... made the same time the burl mottey in my avatar was.. 2004..
