I have a schon CX-37 with a brand new OB-1 shaft with a sniper tip. I have the original schon shaft with a kamuii tip. I am looking to sell my cue and i need some advice on how much i can sell the cue for. If anyone is interested or you can help me out let me know. Thanks.
 
This is just a guess... but it retails for 800.00 ....which means it probably wholesales for around 600.00 so I'm going to guess around 400.00 give or take about 100 in the cue market right now. Again this is just a guess...
 
thanks for your input do you think it would help the price having a 230.00 dollar shaft on it. I got the shaft at the end of december.
 
Do you have 2 shafts? and depending on what the other shaft is, it may bump it up a little or at least help with the sale..
 
I'm an idiot....I post and then go back to see you said 2 shafts and 1 is an OB. With both shafts I would think closer to 500 but the market is kind of rough on Schons right now(at least the newer ones)
 
I want to sell the whole package but if i wanted to sell the shaft i would ask for at least 200 dollars the tip alone on the cue cost 15 dollars and the shaft is basically brand new. I dont think i want to just sell the shaft alone. im trying to sell this cue and shaft so i can buy another cue.
 
Since you're asking for advice, I'll give you an opinion. Probably most people who use an LD shaft like the OB are not going to switch back and forth between that and a regular shaft. Therefore, having both a regular shaft and an LD shaft for the same butt is not as big of a plus as having two of the same kind of shafts for a given butt. You would get more return on your investment by selling the OB shaft separately, IMO.
 
Schon without the OB shaft

I have been looking for a reasonable Schon. I have an extra original and an old growth phenomenal shaft custom made for my old cue (Sold it) and no cue to put them on. I might be interested in the cue without the special OB shaft if someone else buys it. I will look up a picture of the cue on google. How much for butt and original shaft? Bob
