Here is the description of the cue:
Model 6-Palmer Custom
Solid Brazilian rosewood butt, stainless steel joint with white pearl and black fibre trim, irish linen wrap and an acrylic butt cap accented with black fibre and stainless steel rings make this a quiet, classy cue in this price range.

THIS LINK WAS TAKEN OFF OF PALMERCOLLCECTORS WEBSITE TO SHOW AN EXAMPLE PICTURE OF THE CUE!

is this a hard cue to find?
surely somone knows where i can find one!

The Palmercollector website is mine. I only have one of these, so I want to keep it. If I find another I can let you know. It's just not that simple to find one specific model of a cue that's 28 years old. It may take some time.

To help you ID the cue, most of them will have a logo that looks like this:

- PALMER -

This is stamped on the buttcap. The ring in the butt section is thick polished stainless.

There are a couple of other models that are similar. Why this specific cue?

I Have A Pair Of These Cues.
One Is Just Been Restored To 100% Condition.
The Other Is All Origional Completley Except For The Tip Which Was Replaced By Palmer In The Middle To Late Seventies. Not Sure If This Would Be Considered Completley Origional Because It Was Changed By The Manufacture While This Cue In The Line Was Still In Production.it Is In 98% Condition And Is In Beautiful Origional Shape. Origional Wrap, Ferrule, And Shaft And Wrap Has Never Been Cleaned But Shows No Signs Of Play.

The Cue That Is Unrestored Is My Father's And Was Purchased From Palmer Himself. He Is The Origional Owner.

I Agree That The Model Six Is A Very Sexy And Subtle Cue With A Whole Lot Of Understated Class. It Has Been One Of My Favorite Palmers For A Very Long Time

How Baddly Are You Looking For These Cues.

I have a friend who has a 3rd catalog model 16 cue,he wants $1300,it has two original shafts, the one is not playable and with a crack in it,the other one is ok.The cue could use a refinish and rewrap,i could have it done by Rubino,he is close by and would make the cue look perfect probably for around $200 for everything,so $1500 and you have a $2000+ Palmer with a Gus forearm.Let me now if your interested in this rare cue.
