I'M SEARCHING FOR OLD, BEAT TO CRAP IT's GEORGE CUE CASES. THE TUBE AND INTERIOR NEEDS TO BE INTACT, BUT THE LEATHER CAN BE ABUSED.....

OF COURSE IN THIS CONDITION I'D WANT THEM TO BE CHEAP AS WELL.

SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT.
 
What do you want them for?

Would you be interested in an old Meucci? also 2x4 similar design on top of the cap there is a medallion that says "standard of the industry"

I loved that case but was not able to use it any more because the shoulder strap latch broken off.

If you can repair that and would like to have it let me know!
 
SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE ^ HAS FOUND SOMEONE TO DO SOME LEATHER WORK FOR HIM:wink:
 
The Meucci case would not need leather work. It needs to have the latch repaired.

But the broken latch is on the case side not on the strap side so that is the tricky part.

But i think it is possible to do without the riveting and have a strong leather stitch on as a latch holder.

And i am not selling it. Just giving it away.

I think i might have that too! But Since i sold all my old its george long time ago i have no place to try the keys. I think they were for the old fellini type latch. But i can't be sure.
 
i have a guy with a beat up brunswick. long pouch but everythig works. asked me to sell it but when i saw it i said it prob wasnt worth it. plain black. nothing ripped cracked or missing but dinged to hell from use.
 
Poolcuemaster,
look for the cheap aluminum brief cases and make-up cases for sale everywhere from Walmart to trucker reststops. The key from those works great on George flip latch cases.

Hi those old Meucci cases, where made by Ron thomas. I have one its black and has no proplems. Ill take 125 for it. thanks

i'm going to try some myself. I've been doing automotive custom vinyl and install work for 15 years, and i figure if i can cover wavy non-regular shaped surfaces, that tubes should be easy.

I gotta try, they won't be resold, but i just want to experiment.
