WANTED...Cue for kid that loves pool.

Hello everyone. this is a shot in the dark, but i am looking for a inexpensive cue for a 14 yr old kid at my church that loves (and is pretty good at it) pool. His family dosen't have lots of money and I guess you could say I am sort of a mentor to him. I would like to purchase as a gift for him a nice cue , but i can only afford max $100 shipped. I would like to get him something better than a Players cue etc, something that he can keep forever and that his game can grow with. If anyone is feeling "giving" and has a cue that they can let go of for that sort of money please post pics and price please. also an inexpensive 1x1 or 1x2 case would be needed as well. thanks.

I would suggest that you contact Brent Hartmann (BHQ) here on AZ. Sometimes he has some 'boo-boos' in his shop, and they might be suitable for a child's length cue. He did one for my step-daughter, Katie. It turned out beautiful!

thanks for the suggestion, this kid though is a healthy 14 yr old. i think he is gonna need a full size cue.
 
I have a Mali cue that is in excellent cond,made around 1996,made in America,and a brand new 1x1 simple case, $80 total for both..
 
Normally I would have something laying around that I would just give away in this type of situation ...Unfortunatly I gave my last Viking to a guy that needed a cue and never owned one up in Cananda ...The only thing I have now is a couple old Joss's , several Sly's and a Samsara playing cue ... I wish I had something I could just give to help out this kid ... But I like what your doing and wish there were more people in the world as kind and caring as what you are...

Both Brent and Troy are great people I do not see how could go wrong dealing with either one ...

That's what I have in the case and cue,I'll ship it for that,so I'm losing a little, but that's ok, hope I can help you help a child:grin:
 
King, thanks foir the kind words. I have a passion for helping and encouraging our youth. I wish i had lots more $$ to do things for the youth, but i don't so i just try to do what i can when i can. =)

I have a Sneaky Pete Cue im not using that this kid can have for FREE. Its 12.80mm standard lenth 19.5oz I had a linen wrap put on it by Guido Orlandi. Let me know if you want it. Just send me your address. I will ship it to you with a 1x1 case.

i have a true sneaky that he can have at no cost. the cue was made from an old brunswick one piece. it has uneven points and an old 1950's brunswick rubber bumper. no joint rings. if you want it, just send me a shipping address. i'm going to the post office this afternoon. chuck starkey

WOW!! thanks to all who have offered free cues, and great deals on new and used. I have found a cue for him!! thanks again everyone!! It is great to know that there are still great giving people out there!!
