How to make 2k go a long way: Gilbert or Ohman

The two cuemakers I am fond of working with who could provide you with something really exciting for 2K are Andy Gilbert and Pete Ohman. Both cuemakers have excellent reputations for precision and both use superb materials in their creations. I have bought more than half a dozen cues from each maker and without exception, the workmanship was superb.

Gilbert cues tend to hit very stiff while Omen cues are a little quieter and softer hitting. Finish is superb from both and 2K would let you shoose incredable wood and influence the style and inlay pattern of the design.

Bill Grassley's site (cornerstonecustomcues.com) has a gorgeous Omen cue for sale that you should check out if you like quilted maple. Pete has great quilted maple and he also works wonders with snakewood. His cues are generally stabilized and constructed with a cored forearm to get his desired hit and stability. Andy is more old school in his construction and 2K would likely buy you a veneered 8 point beauty. You can't lose with either of these cuemakers for beauty, playability and quality. Good luck shopping
Andy Gilbert: (417) 743-2759
Pete Ohman: (321) 951-8123

If you want to see some pics, I can pm you with some of their cues.
