Looking to trade for a plain Chudy cue. I have a variety of cues to trade for one. Doesn't have to be perfect cosmetically, just straight and simple in design.

PJ Chudy

Still looking for one PJ Chudy. Must be entry level priced and straight.

I have available, but looking for a cash deal at $1.050.

Here's a bump and suggestion:

If you're looking to trade, you might want to post some pictures, or at least some names, of the cue(s) you are talking about trading for an rc3.

Here's the problem with your suggestion... RODCAR has a rather large selction of cues. I'm sure he has plenty he could offer as even trade, and lots of 2 or 3 cue deals. He's better off looking for the cue, and then once found, discussing what the owner may be looking for over the phone. This saves EVERYBODY a ton of time.

Good look with your search rod. Btw, if you find a guy with two, let me know and maybe we can get a buddy discount :)

True!

Thanks JBRAVO, once again you have amazing in site. I could post a 100 cues, don't have the time for that. Will work on the buddy discount for sure.

Still Looking!

Still looking for the elusive RC3 PJ. Let me know if you have one for trade.

I actually have three rc3's and two of them are pj's. First one is cocobolo forearm and butt, the other one is ebony forearm and butt, both have flat face ivory joints, ivory butt caps. the cocobolo has a black leather wrap and the ebony has a ringtail lizard wrap. Both cues have two shafts, ivory ferrules. You can view them in the cue gallery. What kind of cues do you have? Any other rc3, I would be interesed in one that Richard calls Danceing with wings, or a Richard Black Helmet cue.....

i just traded a Richard Chudy Plane Jane just like what you're looking for. i'll ask the guy if it's ok to pass his name your way and get back to you

Rc3

No Black's or RC3 to trade. Looking forward to hearing from anyone that has a RC3 for trade. Some of the cues I have to trade are, McDermott C-20, JCC (Early Jackson Custom), Runde R-1, Nova, and many more.

Let me help you out here, one more time...

The problem you're running into is that NOBODY is going to trade an rc3 for a McDermott, or ANY production/semi-production cue.

If you want to entice somebody to trade a high end custom cue, you're going to need to do it with another high end CUSTOM cue. So unless you have a Cog, Hunter (Bobby, not Hunter Classic), SW, Kersenbrock, etc., then this post is a waste of time.

If you don't have a high end custom, get some CASH. That always works.

He doesn't just have mcd's and production cues dude... In the past year I can think of a couple Capones and a very nice sailor he listed recently... The REAL issue is that Chudy's cues are very desireable and people are holding on to them... Not that this man hasn't listed over 100 cues that he has available. Btw, i'm willing to be that rod has some "production" cues that are worth double the type of cue he's trying to get. Your beliefs are innacurate once again...

No, they're just realistic. You just don't understand that.

Your beliefs are innacurate once again...

LOL... um yeah. I'm willing to bet that nobody (in their right mind) would trade an rc3 for ANY McDermott.

If he has some high end cues like Capones, then why doesn't he just list those?

You are the delusional one if you think he has ANY chance of getting an rc3 for a cue he has actually listed.

Looks like I remember why I had you on my ignore list in the first place - Welcome back to that! LOL!!!:rotflmao1::wave2:

How much are you willing to bet?

Thank you for speaking up for every buyer/seller/trader on the site. Oh how would we get along without this incredible insight about what everyone else is looking for!?

EDIT: Sorry for fanning the flames. I usually stay out of these types of things when I'm not involved, but this hits a nerve with me. I point to the "say something constructive or STFU" general rule of etiquette in this section. Hopefully, the OP will find a good trade to get his Chudy!

My Apologies to All...

My apologies to OP for hijacking this thread. While I was trying to be helpful, it looks like my advice was taken the wrong way.

I told rodcar that I would consider selling the new rc3 I just picked up, but would not be willing to take any trades on it, as that is my policy with any cue because I'm not a dealer. We then had a cue dealer (Worminator) who does take trades, and has a massive inventory say that he, too, was not interested in trades.

All I was trying to say was that rodcar would probably be far better off listing some of his high end, or unique cues so that people that were actually in the market for that particular cue would be able to pick it up, and then he could use the funds to purchase a Chudy. Is that a bit more work? Yes. But finding somebody to part with a Chudy is tough enough. Finding somebody to trade a Chudy for anything less than a similar playing, and similarly priced custom cue was, IMO, going to be far tougher than OP had believed, and listing more cues would give him the best chance for success.

Regardless, my hijacking of this thread showed poor taste, and I apologize to all involved.

Good luck with your search, and I know you'll love whatever Chudy you find!
