If your friend is truly a collector, he may be interested in this one. This is one of the first Schon cues ever produced. Pre-S series. Bob Runde and Terry Romine had just started building Schon cues and they were selling them out of Terry's High Pockets Billiard Parlor in downtown Milwaukee. I happened to be there one afternoon when Terry was gambling and getting his butt kicked. He had already dropped a couple of grand, was out of cash, but wanted to keep playing. To raise funds, he opened the display case which had 8 - 10 cues in it and announced to the room he would take any resonable offers on the cues. I bought this one for I think $250. It is a golden stained birdseye maple, white w/green specked Irish linen wrap, and comes with two shafts. The butt is 30", the shafts 29". Weight is around 20 oz. It was my player for several years. I recently pulled it out of cobwebs and had it refinished by Andy Gilbert. It is still straight and hits solid. PM me if you're interested.
