Had a chance to stay late last night, battled for a few hours and actually started pocketing balls during the last hour....and then I figured out the secret.....you have to actually play to get better, who knew???

Anyway, need sparring partner to get in some practice.....north DFW area, Clicks at Marsh and Rosemeade.....got strange work schedule, my two times to play are Friday 3-6pm and Sunday 3-6pm.....during those slots, play is only $4 flat rate on 9 foot GC's.....take one or both time slots....want to rotate games, work on all facets.....10ball, 1pkt, 8-ball, banks, 14.1, etc....could possibly travel somewhere close, but gas brings the expensive and my truck ain't a 4 cylinder....

I am a C player that sometimes plays like an A, sometimes plays like a B, but often plays like a D :D

Apply in this thread, via PM, or in person....experience required....resume is a plus but not a dealbreaker :D

Bill, it's the "Wanted/For Sale" section.....I actually pondered where to put this :D

Thanks for the offer, I'm more of a money taker.....not much of a giver :D

Also, not necessarily looking for gambling, more someone to partner with in order to promote mutual improvement....kinda like a workout partner in the gym.....

Click's Marsh is my home away from home. Because I play league there, we get free table time, so long as there is no waiting list for customers, cause you know customers are always first.

I can maybe accommodate the Sunday hours easier than the Friday night hours.

But like I said, my offer is out there.

This forum is starting to look like those Craigslist personal sections...first its a workout partner then who knows what else it may lead to. :eek: J/K Perm, look me up next time at one of Doc's tournaments for a little practice. I go by "JT". I only play every now and then, but I'll PM ya if I know I will be there or out that way for that matter.:thumbup:

Monica, you are on....it's always good to practice with good people....

Lemme know if those times work, Fri and/or Sun, 3-6pm....

Hey, if the timeslots work, come awwwn.....the more people, the better....gives people a chance to mix up games, play different people, and really work on your game...

Also, Wed nights, there is usually a table that opens up around 10pm, and with my recent early exits, I seem to have plenty of time to practice :D....Doc and I battled until 1am last week.....
 
i'm having one of the Pro-Ams removed from billiard den installed in my place hopefully sooner than later, so when it happens i'll be sure to invite you over for some sparring. Friday I have league at BD and Sundays are usually my home days. Almost always action with me or at least some practice opportunity at BD with me if you are ever bored.

I'd offer as well, but I live on the other side of FW from you. Granted I play league out of the North Dallas area, but it's a bit of a drive just for sparring. If you find yourself in Fort Worth and want someone to shoot against.. give me a shout.

Rusty's Billiards has some nice tables.....
