Warning - Possible virus email just received

Just a heads up, I got a random email from stix4sale@aol.com to which I have never heard of....

There was a link and I noticed on the to list were possibly a couple of AZers like Don Sureman etc...

I recommend to not open the link unless you expected something from this person as it is most likely a virus. Just a heads up warning. Here are the contacts that were also attached to this email.

i got 53 spam emails in the last hour

Dammit Brent!! I lost everything on my work computer, including files, booby pictures, etc....to make it right I only ask that you make me a cue of the specs that I am working on now as I cry and type this response.

I kid of course (didn't click it). :D

i've been getting them for several days
i dont know what's goin on
they hack one, and then they get all of his contacts emails too?

i'll send some boobies , there will be two, as they usually come in pairs
 
Weird...I blocked the email so I shouldn't be getting it again. Just wanted to give the heads up to my fellow AZers. No worries Brent, hopefully everyone doesn't get to click happy and thinks first.

Did you ever click on the link to begin with? If so you may need to do a virus scan on your computer...it actually wouldn't hurt to do one anyway if you haven't in a while as they are getting more creative these days on how they trick people to get them to work.

i run my virus stuff everyday
just did it, it's all good

spitz sent me a message on fb saying i been hacked again

anybody else getting strange emails from me? (stranger than ususal:grin:)
 
AOL just recently got hacked again, and thousands of accounts were compromised. If you get an email from an AOL user you know with nothing but a link in it, DO NOT click the link unless you want some malware spoojam all over your system.... Just delete the message immediately.
 
Thanks for the heads up, but I just empty my junk folder without looking at it.
In fact, I don't read important emails either, so I'm safe.
