\ATTENTION, I was contacted in the morning today by an AZ member that someone was trying to use my name to sell him a stick. The good thing is, the person that was contacted was a friend of mine and messaged me about whether or not the person that messaged him was me. I told him it wasn't, and I am posting this to warn others to watch out for this impersonator. The number used was (843)-9XX-7814, that's as much as I'll provide without fully exposing the perpetrator. Additionally, I got another PM on here asking if I had shipped a Gus cue, then I replied back "No", so I explained to him that the impersonator was trying to scam him as well. If somebody contacts you and is claiming that they are me, please verify before trading by :

OK post the number and if someone has a name please post it and lets be done with this jacka$$...

JV (--- I bet he still won't get a negative I-trader... lol

Yeah Cleiton. He tried doing a trade deal. Never wants to buy. He wants to overnight the cue so you have no chance in catching on. Ask him to do escrow and you'll pay all fees and he backs out!

Jeremy Gore - jeremyrg1

I was contacted by text message asking if l had any South West Cues for sale. I told the inquirer l did, and what was your name. He said his name was Jeremy Gore from a small town ( Conway ) South Carolina near Myrtle Beach.

After numerous text messages, and emails, I asked if we could talk by phone to make some sort of sale. We did talk, and the conversation got around to him owning a Szamboti, and would l be interested in trading?

I said l would like to see some pics of the Szam, and then we could move on. Unfortunately for Mr.Gore, he showed me pictures of a very famous cue! I knew the cue immediately, so I played along to gather info on this guy!

He told me his AZ name is - jeremyrg1, ( I hope this is correct, for I would not want to tarnish someone's AZ name ) and hopefully his IP address can be copied by admin to see what other names he is registered under.

I sent him numerous pics of SW cues l had for sale, and we ended up working a "SUPPOSED" Trade deal for a couple of my cues for the Szamboti he did not own.

At the same time this was going on, he was texting and speaking with a friend and AZ member trying to sell my SW pics in trade. This friend realized the pics were mine, and his plan was unraveling. He asked to see pics inside the rubber bumper on my SW's after my friend asked him for them. I took pics and sent them to my friend, which in turn he forwarded them to Jeremy, and told him he had the pics already.

That was the last I heard from him. He also contacted 2 other reputable members that l know of trying to trade the Szamboti.

Be very careful who you are dealing with out there!!!!

Guy messaged me as well. He wanted to trades some cues but I recognized the cues from az and something just felt wrong. Be careful when doing business with an unknown person he will find someone to send him a cue at some point .

This same guy 843-902-7814 approached me recently about buying a cue of mine. He then asked if I would trade for one of his cues. He named all kinds of quality cues. He then text me a beautiful Andy Gilbert cue, I recognized this cue as someone's avatar. I don't even know how he got my #? I tried to get him to call me but he wouldn't. Scary, I wont do any deals anymore unless they are well known or I do escrow. Im happy I saw this post

I found out where I saw the cue avatar
PLSHRK22 ( Cue Addict) Im not saying this is the guy by any means, its just the cue the guy was offering me....

There was a guy going by Michail Karas on FB in the Open Billiards Market who was stealing other people's cue pics and attempting to sell them as his own....he was reported and promptly blocked from the page. Wonder if it's the same guy using an alias.

scary stuff right here....

Again guys, here is one more example why if you are considering entering into a trade deal, there should never be planned to be "2 cues passing in the night", shipped at the same time. If someone wants your cue and wants to trade, you should get their trade first....especially if they are unknown and you are known. Sorry, that just makes sense. Never a good idea.

Did the guy have a real strong southern accent? Just curious because I got scammed through a trade by a guy named Rusty Cannon from North Carolina. Just throwing it out there that this scammer is in the nearby area.

Thanks for heads up think this guy was trying too do some small trades with me

This honestly makes me weary of continuing to buy and sell cues here unfortunately. I agree with everyone in that a little common sense should be exercised when going through deals, but this is just unreal...

I warned several people about this guy he lives in south Carolina and offers u trades that are to good to be true. He gets numbers here on AZ. If u ask for escrow the texting miracously stops
