>Warning to all AZ'ers {DaKarateStar}<

Thanks Sandman,

I can agree with you about threatening harm to someone on the forum, but he has had 2 1/2 months to send the item or try to explain or make right. I'm OK with putting his info out there after 2 1/2 months, so others will know him well.
If a thread like this had not been posted, would he have ever done anything about it. This thread got a lot of people who knew him involved and made him look bad to them (as you said eye to eye).

Just saying

Resolution

Same day results from the Sandman...

I just caught wind of this yesterday, got in touch with Dakaratestar in person, had an eye to eye, heartfelt talk with the guy, and expresed my dissappointment in him. It was never his intention to rip anyone off. I know for a fact that he was going through some very difficult times financially and basically just took forever in sending out the case he was selling to obtain some very needed cash. I always try to find the good in people. Even the most innocent and kindest people in the world make silly stupid decisions and mistakes when times get desperate. He has already contacted JLROWE today to explain himself and apologize for the whole misunderstanding and delay in shipping out the case. Dakaratestar was unaware of this thread until I brought it to his attention last night and he read it this morning. I believe he has a good heart underneath and wants to do what is right to fix things and make good. It is always reassuring to see that good people stick together when they feel a travesty has occured HOWEVER, publicly posting personal information (name, address, DL# etc.) and suggesting physical violence as an appropriate action of recourse, is NOT an honorable way of handling things that I can agree with. Anyhow, all this will be settled shortly and hopefully jlrowe will find closure and Dakaratestar will have learned his lesson from this as he bears the guilt for a while.

Thank you all for sticking together on this and standing up for justice. I love it. In the meantime... BE SURE TO VISIT SANDCASTLE BILLIARDS in EDISON, NJ when you're in the area -OR- visit www.SandcastleBilliards.com to get the latest news, tournament results and specials from NJ's #1 players' room (now going for the jewels and replacing 90% of the room with BRAND NEW Diamond Pro-Am tables with tournament blue 860 Simonis and matching light fixtures - I'll never let go of Steve Mizerack's 4 old Brunswick Gold Crown I's) with the LOWEST rates and BEST deals for regulars in the STATE!!!

Mr. Sandman,

First of all I appreciate what you have done, and your involvement was the only thing other than legal action that was going to bring closure on this.
Dong / Leo had every opportunity since 11-29 to make this right and chose to take advantage of a very nice honest person that had to save up to purchase a nice case.
Jerry gave him every chance to make this right and this thread was his last option.
Instead of making things right, Leo / Dong decided to try it again and I almost got trapped as well.
Unfortunately we do what we have to do when these issues become public, and sometimes we have to cut a little deep to make it happen.
This isn't our first rodeo in dealing with this, and I can assure you that nobody likes to go public and admit that they have been had.
It is very stressful.

Once Jerry receives his case or cash, I will be the first one to remove any personal information I posted and others will do the same.
Again I want to thank you for your concern and it is nice that someone on your level took the time to get involved and bring some resolution.

Peace

Ted

Sandman,

First, kudos to you for helping out and fixing what seems like a "wrong".

If I assume that some of the stuff Leo is accused of is true I.e. scamming Jerry, attempting to scam Cues and stiffing Iba on a bet, then I see a pattern here, and it ain't pretty.

Honestly, Leo is getting off easy.

Sandman have you seen the case? Does he even own it? He did not use his personally taken pictures but those from JB's website.
Maybe you could escrow the deal and check the condition of the case before it is ship.

Well here is the update. dakaratestar sent me a pm. Well guess he had enough or is trying to buy time. But he pm'ed me apologizing etc. He said he would ship the case next week. I just dont understand why when he cashed the MO all it would have taken is about 20 of the 425.00 to ship it.
I told him I understand about difficult situations and that he didnt even have to pay the shipping just bring the case to Ed at Sandcastle monday and i had arranged for him to ship it. So i guess we will see. Im trying to be positive. And thanks to everyone again.

Ahhhh, the POWER OF THE AZ message boards!

I'm with most of the others on here. Sandman is giving the Karate Kid way the benefit of the doubt. I don't believe he had any intention of sending anything to anybody until the AZ vigilantes got on his ass. Another job well done by the AZ SWAT Team!
I'm thinking he got off easy as a matter of fact. A good chance he was heading for the lock-up pretty soon.

thats true jay ! sandman did a good thing to get in this guys grill but i don't think his heart was ever in the right place. and he don't want his arse in the wrong place now !!!

Yeah it's hard to say if posting personal info and suggesting violence wasn't the only way this loser would have sent the case.

By the way he owes interest in my book.

Hi,
The understanding and patience of jlrowe are exemplary of a gentleman. Pure class!
Karate dude is lucky I didn't buy the case as he would have been fitted for the steel bracelets.

Good question here. That also brings another question. Where did he steal the pictures of the Ernie Martinez he posted for sale as well?

I would want my money back. If I were you I would tell him to take his case and use it as a suppository! Hopefully its a dealer case too!

Still waitng for assurance that there is a case.:confused:

Snadman is the hero !!!!

It will never change. The poolroom owner is like an elementary school teacher. Calling the kid in after school to try and make him own his actions.
Let's see, typical poolroom owner's responsibilities. Guidance counselor, loan officer, matchmaker, janitor and picker upper of goods not received.
Such unthankful work.

Hey rackem, Yeah, a helpful az'er that first made me aware that he played at Sandcastle on monday nights said he didnt personally know the guy but he recognized the JB Whimsy case he carried.
