Was is the minimum diameter a 314-2 can be turned down?

I recently traded a beautiful Keith Josey Ebony SP for a lesser Joss for one main reason; it had a second generation 314. well to my surprise it has been turned down to 11.9mm (I measured) from the stock 12.75. How close is this to being too narrow for the ferrule to handle?

i may be wrong, but i thought 11.25 ???????? that's what pechauer told me when i ordered one for a friend. that could just be THIER standard though.

I don't know the smallest that the shaft can be turned, probably just a couple of thousandths larger than the center hole. Would this hold up for hitting balls? Absolutely not. I do know that Predator's guarantee is void if the 314 is turned smaller than 12.25 though.

The smallest for a 314 is 12.25, I think the smallest for a Z-shaft is 11 but I'm purely guessing on that one.

True on the 314 Mike. 12.25 for a 314, and 11.25 for a Z shaft.
