Was I the only one that thinks that Mike Sigiel was an a##, or is that just mike thinking he is the best he didnt even have to play anyone straight to the finals.

Mike did not have to play anyone until the finals because he beat Lori Jon Jones to become King of the HIll. personally i think that Mike And Kevin had it set up that way so that Mike would be King. No was Lori John is going to beat Mike..and i like Lori Jon and her husband Sammy.......mike
Junior, your still young so you never got to see him in his prime. Mike has always been "mouthy" thats just how he is. I think character is great in a player, but sometimes can be annoying.
Mike and Kevin have been setting the IPT thing up for a while now, and if he can get the cash for whatever reason....fine. Remember it's more about marketing and TV than whos the best player....at this point anyway.

Mike is deserving
Of course many people can see that it was set up for Mike Sigel to collect an easy $250K from the initial IPT events, but if he really had some doings in getting KT to start this whole IPT thing, I say he definitely deserves it.....I agree that he is one of the best pool champions of all time, but he can also be a pompous ass, as evidenced by his narrations and actions on the IPT TV showings.........

At DCC both Mike Sigel and Buddy Hall were charging $20 for an autograph.
I had Buddy sign a couple of posters at the 2005 DCC and he never asked me to pay him. Maybe he decided it was time to start. Regardless, I won't pay for an autograph from anyone. It would be different if they knew that person was going to sell them or if someone asks them to sign maybe 5 different items. I had 2 posters, one for me and one for the guy who stakes me to hang in his bar. I told eveyone why I had 2 of them and not 1 person of the 25 or so asked me for any $$$. Sam

Anyway, its never to early to prepare for DCC. You have a standing invitation to Betmore's Basement; we could play some 1-p, banks, 9-b, 14.1. The pool is free, the beverages are free, the food is free, the opponent is mediocre.
P.S. - The next 2 weekends are great. I have lots of babysitting assistance if needed (2 girls home from college).
