Have you guys ever tried Wasabi tips?

I had a customer bring one in to me last week...

I sort of cheated and hit a few balls with it before returning the shaft to my customer.

That tip is awesome! It holds chalk like no other, and didn't seem to move at all after installation. I banged a few around pretty hard just to test it out... It grabbed the ball really well also...

I heard some rumor that these are made 100 at a time by hand...

PM me IMMEDIATELY if you get a hold of some!

??????????????

I had some Wasabi with my Sushi the other night, that really is some hot stuff, Burp!!!!!!!!!:D

I have been told that these tips are made in the same factory, and that they are soaked in Wasabi juice and this is what preserves them.;)

no way they are as good as the rhino foreskin tips.

Way better!!!!! WASABI tips are made out of TAINT, you know, that rare and exotic parcel that taint cat or a$$. Tends to wrinkle with age but guaranteed
to handle years of vigorous stroking, to include force follow which is the downfall of most competition.

Now that's some funny $h*t right there. OMG!

I prefer the Kronic tip myself,

And I have been a member of the "Kronic Union" - Local 420, for over 15 years now.

This is an exclusive local that only a few are qualified in their profession to apply. Purdman is an honorary member in good standing!!

Just bought a wasabi tip last night here in Chicago!!! I've been hitting balls for about three hours today and it's amazing!!! It cost me $25, I feel it's a bargain at that. There are definitly spots on the cueball I never thought I'd be able to cue the ball at...Like FOUR tips of english!!!! I heard about how well they hold chalk so for the first 35 minutes I never chalked, and NO MISCUES!!!! It gets my vote for product of the year...and thats after only 3 hours!!!!
Man I remember the Moori's from about 10 years ago(WHEN THEY WERE GOOD TIPS) and this WASABi tip puts it to SHAME!!! I would recommend this tip to anyone I know!!!

Why would you need more than two tips of English?

I'm sorry four tips may have been too much, but you can cue farther towards the edge of the ball than I have ever seen before. Maybe that will give you knockers a better explanation of what I meant.

Sounds to me like the reason you aren't miscuing is because you aren't hitting the cue ball. Cue ball = 2.25", from center of cue ball to outside edge = 1.125",
tip = .513, 4 tips = 2.52".

classic:D :D :D

Gabbo is coming!

GABBO, GABBO, GABBO!!!!

Why do I get the feeling MnM and the OP are playing the ole dueling banjo routine?.

MnM starts a thread in the main forum about some spicy tip no one's ever heard of, then another person starts a thread the same day in the cuemaker forum.

Sound's like someone's drumming up a rep for a soon to be unleashed product. Boy I can't wait for that four tips of english, that should really make me more accurate.:D

Dick - I am impressed :)

is that all you guys have time to do? Try to figure something out to make yourself feel smart? Bad mouth something someone else tried before you, because you didn't post it first? Why don't you just take what someone says for what it is, and not try to be such a bunch of old women!
You guys can take it however you want. I'm just trying to let a few people know my opinion about a product. That from my understanding is only manufactured in a very limited fashion. By the way, I'm sure if you had come across a new product you liked, you wouldn't tell anyone about it. For the fact that you may be dead wrong about it, and get laughed at. You guys remind me of a rumor mill run by bad information...Pessimistic gossipers who love to be negative. FOLLOWERS by choice afraid to step up and take a stance that may subject you to any sort of criticism. SAD!

You could be right, but you could also be a BS artist too. When something is that terrific, usually there's something written about it on the web. When I Google it, the only person talking Wasabi tips up is you. Maybe we're pessimistic, maybe we have reason to be.

Edit: Someone started a thread about Kamui tips and you hi-jacked it to promote Wasabi tips, this is the kind of thing that makes people wonder.
