Yo Steve,

Have you guys heard from Rick Jones lately? It'd be cool to find out what he is doing with himself these days..

Do I Have To Be A Resident Of Washington State To Play In This Tournament.

Who do you consider the 'A' players that can't play up there? I see the results of the Uncle Jacks 'B' tourneys in Lynnwood in the OnTheBreak and the top is littered with 'A' players. Just curious.

Todd,
I haven't been rated anywhere lately, do you think I can play? How do players get rated in WA?

Let's see, you beat Todd Marsh last year in the BCA Masters finals. Not sure but you might be an A. ;) :p

Valentino, Bad Neck Jr., and a couple others should not be B's by any stretch of the imagination, I agree!

Yeah I wasn't saying I was going to go to that tourney..well I would if they let me play. :p :p :D

Nah I was just referring to the Uncle Jacks 'B' tourneys where they let Tyler Luce, James Davee, etc play in them. If it was the same at City Lights then it is a tough tourney for 'B' players to get high in the money.

You're right for sure, it is hard to get anywhere when all those A players knock you out. James Davee is an A+ player all the way and Tyler is sitting on the fence...a high B or low A.

If that's the case, I am staring at the fence through binoculars!

I'd tend to agree the way you played at Cadillac a month ago. :p ;) Just Kidding. I think its that OB-1 shaft...that thud feel is why I got rid of the Tiger shaft I customed to my cue. Didn't care for it. I like Sowder's shaft that he made for me.

That's what I ran into when I played the Cadillac "B" tourney last month. They say BCA rules, but obviously not BCA ratings. There were quite a few A players and at least 2 Masters that I knew of (listed on the BCA site, too). My game was spotty and being frustrated with the misleading ratings didn't help one bit. I asked what constituted an A player and he said "Master", which is what I think they should put in the ad.

I have recently been playing with my sneaky pete a lot more. I seem to play more consistently with it, and I am now performing as I should. I smoked Brit the other day, and I beat Mike Jensen the other day as well (same day). I think this tournament should be a chance to redeem myself.

City lights ratings

James Davee- Def. an A, it didnt help, Junior Sardoncillo(broke neck) to split with James in an Uncle Jacks "B" Tourney, Valentino Alvarado and Junior Tolentino, I'm letting them play, only because Val has never placed in any of my tournaments, open or b, and Tolentino is the reigning 8-ball "b" champion. 9-Ball is a sloppy game, if you can make it give me call or send me a message on here or at citylightstournaments@yahoo.com
