lol! I've been using it for more than a year now, specially if there's the San
Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour on schedule.
 
And I find the connection using the Sopcast player 1.0.1 to be much better than TVU player.

AFAIK, TVU is an American company that allegedly 'stole' this technology
about a year ago from the old Sopcast team based in China, in order to
profit from it.
I'm not sure what they stole, it could be the code or the entire concept
itself.
Watching contributed commercial channels could be illegal or not, in or
outside the US, but TVU is American and american is spelt profit.
So, enjoy it while it last. ;)

It sucks for me-All pixeled up half the time and crashes every 15 minutes or so. NO sound half the time-Am i alone w these problems?
 
Upgrade to a higher bandwidth!

Well i get it FREE too- what has that got to do with it???

I have cable Internet access-What should i do, order T-1 for 2 Grand a month?

If TVU does not work for you, try to go to sopcast.com and install the SOPCAST player 1.0.1. When I was having problems with TVU, I watch it live via sopcast instead.

OK i tried one channel and it worked another didnt but what channel number is the WPC on?-I dont find ESPN Asia

OK it is working a little but im not sure it is the right channel- Will see in 8 hrs or so -thanks
 
Not working

These internet TV players could not get through the firewall/network in my office!!! :mad:

Not TVU
Not TVants
Not SOPcast

So frustrating....

And in wwITV i only get Star Sports -- which oddly starts airing the WPC starting Nov. 21! I can't find ESPN Asia anywhere in the web.... =(

Good thing I have NBN and IBC on free tv :D I get to watch a few matches when I get home... hehe...

Hope everybody's having a good one! I hope Efren goes to the finals 'coz I'm gonna watch it live at the venue!!! :)
 
I watched all the matches today on Sopcast Beautiful Smooth as silk-Gives that Crap TVU the 6 out. Thanks.

Today, when I tried to run Sopcast, I kept getting a sopcast.ocx file error, multiple times, redownloaded, and still get the error .... grrrr!

I went back to TVU, and watched okay, but it loses the connection after awhile, had to restart a couple of times, but it did oksy? The sound is better in TVU, but the picture is better in Sopcast.

Did anyone else have problems with Sopcast? I want to get this fixed before the final 16 matches are televised.
 
I downloaded sopcast and it always says it can't open properly. Can anyone give me the link they downloaded it from please.
