Watching Pinegar, wow I get tired. He plays great. A country man player. But boy his routine is something. I used love watching Monk, the TV detective.
Johnathan's shot:
Walk around a couple of times, Chalk up, chalk, chalk and chalk. Get down. , Get up, did I chalk? Chalk, chalk chalk. Walk around , chalk, chalk chalk.
Boy I am tired watching.

I had to stop watching I could not deal with the chalking 🤷

Hennessy was getting.much tougher layouts at the beginning of racks, not getting out and leaving Patsura easy....I watched til.about 43 to 35...
Hennessy is a beast for the money. His high gear is top shelf, he wasn't in it when I was watching.

The worst thing to ever befall pool is this stupid pre-shot routine garbage. I understand the principle behind it but it is mind numbing and really doesn't add anything to your game. You might think it does, but I don't believe so. If I gave you a lucky rabbits foot and told you it would improve your consistency, it would, as long as you believed it did. I can't watch the folks that go through the same schtick before every shot or layout no matter how simple.

Let the pool flow through you! no thinking, no PSR! free wheeling brings out the best pool in all of us! (no responses about how you would go broke. overthinkers go broke too)

It does get tiring ! The constant chalking, running the cue up/down in the bridge hand and on and on. It's all a mind f...k IMO and other than taking the time to figure out a kick or a safety all the shots are basically repetition that they've shot a ton of times.
