Watching Pinegar vs Pastura

Anyone that assumes Patsura was "on the stall" or some other such thing, has watched or read one too many pool stories. Even if there wasn't as much money on the line as advertised, NOBODY is laying it down while up only a handful of racks to someone they could lose to, except for in the most rare of circumstances. Yeah I know we all know this one story or another that's clouded in mystery, but even that story's probably not true. ;)

Just because we've been spoiled watching so much top-level pool the last decade, that doesn't mean just anyone can play perfect runout pool anytime they choose. The line between playing perfect and looking like you're struggling is razor thin for even the world's greatest players.

I haven't been around real players since the 70s and I pretty much kept my nose out of it anyway. I will say that while I won't speculate in earnest, I won't take much at face value either; not when free money is up for grabs.

Even for Hennessee, he appeared out of sorts from the beginning of the match. I've watched him a lot especially at DCC in tournament play and action matches and never saw him play so slow and anxious. I don't know the other player but to me I'd like to see them play again.

VP is too nice to say, please stop with the sharking, the stick dropping while I'm shooting, walking by the table during shots, phone calls, being loud, etc. He needs someone who will say something. Sword said something and was respectful, but it was on the end of the last day.
