It was. No losers when the play is that good.
A real nail biter at the end. Feel sorry for Johnny in failing to position for a break shot but so glad that Earl won. Tremendous play by both Earl and Johhny. Hope to see them both in the next Mosconi.
So, was there much barking between the two players?
not that I noticed when I was watching it
However, Earl refused the post match interview after Johnny made some kind of comment about Earl not doing interviews when he loses

I dont blame earl for the way he acted after he had won,putnam was bad mouthing earl the whole way,you shouldnt be a commentater and root out loud for just one player as putnam did,nick was great,and johnny was too!
I thought Nick did a great job commentating in the booth as well.. Like you, I am not much of a Putnam fan as a commentator at all.. YMMV
