Thank everyone for the nice compliments.

I just wanted to thank everyone that left responses.

If anyone is ever in the Owensboro area or know when they might be, you are invited to stop by for a few games. You can send a pm here and I will let you know how to get there.

thanks again

John

We ended up not getting the new GC and decided on a 9' Golden West. This table has the Brunswick Super Speed cushions, shimmed pockets, and Tour Edition cloth. This table plays very nice and quick. Let me know what you think of it. The next thing is to get better lighting.

John

Nice choice!

That's a beauty. I'll bet the clicking sound of the balls sounds good bouncing off those cinder blocks. Congrat's on your new table.

kydartmaster, may I ask you why you didn't go for the GC? Was it simply a cost issue?

Nice room btw.

Nice Table

Nice table. Should raise you game. Who's the guy with the guitar?:D

Thanks for the comments so far. As for the GC, yes...it was cost. Would have had a great deal on the new one from Nick but after just buying this house and trying to get everything ready had to back away from some of the table cost.

The cat issue!!! I have a nice cover on order. He only had 8' in stock.

I will say though, I wanted this table set up right and in a way that Nick would come over and play more. He does like the way it plays and says its lightening fast.

nice table

I like the table but I'm not sure about the electric blue.
For my eyes, I think it's a little loud. One of my favorite
bars has Diamond Smart tables and just put the same cloth
on them.

who's Nick?

Very nice table.
For a new home and now a new table, you made out very well.

Good luck with the game,
Myron

Great table, John. Congrats on the new house, too! Nice blue cloth.

;) Don't let Nick win just because he's a nice guy. ;)

Yours Truly,
The Woim

updated pictures

Thought I would put a few more pics up showing that i did get the protection from the cats. I took a few other pictures from around the basement I just hope they aren't too dark.

really nice gameroom setup you got there. i like how you kept the tv in a secluded, blocked-off corner to keep the cue ball from going into the screen. hope nothing happens to the gumball machine though. i like the dart board too! and the bar!!! all you need is a mini fridge with sodas and snacks and i'll be right there!

i like the table. love the cloth. i prefer an automatic ball return, but it definately looks more classic like this.

Nice room setup! I have a Cat also, and in 7 years the cat never even attempted to jump on the table. It jumps on everything else in the house, but not the pool table. Strange.

one pocket table

They make a great table. Looks great! was that floor really that out of level???

Are two of the legs shimmed to keep all the balls on one end for one pocket? LOL--Leonard
