Wedding Band Rings

This is nothing new. I have seen a few cues that were made with rings that matched someones wedding rings. I think Ernie made one like that.

gold rings

last year i made a cue with appx 3 oz of 14k yellow gold in it, the butt cap had stitch rings, the ferrule and joint was solid gold. my cost at that time was $2700.00 just for the gold.
i own a jewelry store and build cues part time. i have made 304 cues in the last 7-8 years.
i think a great design would be a joint with black linen fiber on each side of the 14k gold.
there are dozens of builders on azb that could make your cues. pick out one that you like and run with it.
oh yeah, bring your wallet !!!!!!
good luck chuck

So I got engaged at the BCA this past week and I was thinking it would be pretty cool to get a new cue that would have rings that match my undetermined wedding band.

Is this a strange request?
Is it possible?
Is there some sort of issue with the metal popping out?
Does anybody have any experience doing this?
Is it better to get the ring then try to get the stick made like the ring?
Pictures?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

It's not a strange request. It's been done before, so I say go for it.

Richard Chudy had Celtic bands made (he may have made them, as he can do some metal work like that) to match a couple's wedding bands and installed them on a their matching cues.

I've got photos somewhere and I had them in the article on Chudy in InsidePOOL a few years ago.

{edit: I see you've found those rings. Sorry for the duplicate}
