Hey JAM here’s a lil tidbit you may or may not know. Mike Fusco and Willie Mosconi are in the video for Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. Mikes wearing the same Brown suit jacket he wore so often when I was a kid growing up at the Boulevard. He’s the guy that nods to the old guy that goes into the boxing gym to get Willie Mosconi. Jimmy and Petey were regulars at Mikes poolroom Thje Boulevard Social and Athletic Club when I was growing up in the 80’s. Spanish Mike Lebrun was also a regular there back then.I did not know that, Tablemechanic! The Mosconi line is one of the proud sponsors of Jeanette Lee.
If my memory serves me correctly, when they were getting ready to film the Atlantic City scene in "The Color of Money," a friend of mine in the Maryland area who owned a pool table distributorship was contacted by the movie people to provide a bid proposal. He was outbid by another vendor, which I think -- and I am not sure -- was Murrey tables!
