Hello everyone,

For the past 3 years or so Joel Weinstock shut down his custom cue production.

About 5 or so years ago Joel along with my and others help got started building his own CNC equipment. He was tired of his old lathes that had been building cues for nearly half a century. (they were some of the first lathes in VIKINGS factory)

His first machine tho somewhat bulky did the job perfectly. Around 2007 I moved away and he went back to a one man shop.

He fulfilled his final orders and shut down cue production. He spent the next 3 years perfecting his equipment designs. To my knowledge I'm the only one he made a new cue for from 2007-2010 and that took much pleading lol.

So the WEINSTOCK CUSTOM CUES SHOP is NOW OPEN AGAIN!!!!

Wether you need repair, shafts or a new cue Joel can fulfill your needs.

He will only be building a couple dozen cues or so this year and already has a nice batch of titlist conversions being completed.

I will post some pictures soon.

Any and all orders, questions or specifics are to be directed to me personally. Joel is very busy with his Barber shop as always and dedicates most all of his spare time to his cues and equipment.

He is a very dear friend which some of you know took me under his wing and taught me to build cues almost 7 years ago.

We spoke over the phone last night and came to the conclusion that I would be his official representative.

As you all know I'm a respected member of this site and am on here just about every day....sometimes it seems like its all day lol. Being that I am familiar with everyone and have the time we decided that this would be the most efficient stance to take.

We will have a website up and running soon with a little luck that will feature our cues together. Weinstock Custom Cues and my own Epignosis Custom Cues.

Some time in the not too distant future we also plan on doing a series of cues together that will combine our talents and design work.

I had spoken with Joel the other day and mentioned the Magnificent 7 group featuring some of the games most legendary players.....Joel had the a wonderful idea and has decided to build a Magnificent 7 series of cues to honor the players.

These cues will be ready sometime around christmas and will feature curly maple, turquoise on a black background on the joint and butt, linen wrap and 2 shafts.

There will be ONLY 7 of these made by Joel and he will not make that design again. Cues can be individually bought or can all be purchased as a complete set for a discounted price. (PM FOR PRICING DETAILS)

Cool, I always thought he made interesting cues. He used to play a little bit, as well.

Heres something that will make you grin brother......

Dam right he did....was a very good player won at Reno about 30 years ago i believe.

His stance is still one of the most solid I've ever seen and he's got a sweet stroke.

Here is a very nice Titlist conversion that Joel is nearly completed......ITS BEAUTIFUL

WOW that is BEAUTIFUL!
Is the joint on the sneaky pete wood to wood?

yes it is....a phenolic collar or something similar w/o rings on the shaft and butt would be a little extra.

but a sneaky pete is supposed to be sneakey anyways.....

a collar would be "A NOT SO SNEAKY PETE" lol

For the sneaky, does he buy, make his own, or conversion?

Beautiful Titlist conversion by Joel Weinstock.
Interesting story, glad to see that you're involved.
Good luck, I know yov're been looking towards this for a while.

The Sneakiest Steel ..................

For the sneaky, does he buy, make his own, or conversion?

He converts old 4 pointers......old duffeins, brunswicks etc.....

For a cheap player that you know is going to hold and play solid thats about the best route....wood is seasoned and you can pick the best ones.....

I forget to mention that that $250 sneaky has a STAINLESS STEEL CORE......

Its a stainless sleeve over the tennon, with the wood sleeve over it......

VERY VERY VERY SNEAKY.....and hits wonderful.

Get a steel joint hit without it being seen.

He built about 10 of them before he took his leave to work on the lathes and I had hit around with one for some time and loved it.

Thats his "signature" sneaky pete......in not too long I will have some pics of one in the works for your viewing pleasure.

So it's a piloted joint? Maybe post a pic, if we're not on the same page.
