Hi Jen,

I wanted to pop in and welcome you to the Ask the Pros forum!

I have already started reading your 10 Silliest...and I am anxiously awaiting the other 8...LOL. You stated that they are mistakes that amateurs and semi-pros typically make...but I just know that I am going to be guilty of one somewhere along the line!

Please let us know who your mentor was that shared these words of wisdom with you.

Anyhow, in case I haven't said so recently, congratulations on all your accomplishments on tour! You have been doing great...and I can really see growth in you...as a player and a spokesperson for the sport. Keep your chin up and keep plugging away!

Thanks for the welcome & kind words.

My mentor for the past 3 years has been Stu Mattana, a dedicated teacher and lifelong student of the game. He has opened my eyes to a whole other side of the pool, and has made the game infinitely more enjoyable as a result. My plan is, with his permission, to share some of his wisdom on this forum.

I said it before, but I will reiterate...I only hope that I can give the same great insight into the world of pool that you, Sarah & Keith have!

Congrats on going pro Jenn. We watched you play when you were still semi-pro and could tell that you had what it took :)

Thank you! I remember you and your husband from the CAT tour. I always appreciated the positive things you guys said to me at those events!

I have watched you at cat tournies as has my husband, Ray. While we are 'rec' players, we have great admiration for people such as yourself who work so hard to become a pro.

Pool is really a great sport and I especially love watching 9 ball. Looking forward to watching you rise up the ranks in the WPBA
