I found a nice little article on the only best female carom player of the 20th century. This lady happens to be Japan's legend, Masako Katsura. Enjoy!

Thank I been hunting for information on Masako Katsura
Sadly, it identified her as a pool player. I saw her play once at the Palace in San Francisco. She did some straight rail and then played a 3-C match as I recall.
The Headline might said Pool player, but the write up say Billiard Player

Here an old Life issue with a picture of Masako Katsura, I noticed in the article she was call "Katy"! And is that a H. Martin Cue she playing with?
