18 3/4 oz cue made from a kiln dried wenge dowel. the forearm and butt area was turned down to .62 inches and the forearm and butt was sleeved over them. the wenge is one solid piece running the entire length of the cue.

the entire cue was tapered all in one piece. having the wenge running the entire length of the cue makes for a very solid feel. this is not my idea its just the first time i have tried this method, and i will be making more of this style cue. i saw something like this in the ask the cue maker section.

azb has been very helpful to me in the last few years and i would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone.

no ferrule

i have been experminting with the no ferrule for a while, i have been selling my cues with no ferrule with the understanding that if you do not like the way the cue plays i will put one on at no charge.



so far no has returned a cue to have one installed.
 
IMHO, the future is ferrule-less...they will only used for aesthetic considerations, not performance.
 
Chuck, your cues are beautiful. I love the elk horn use and simple style. I look forward to shooting with one in the future, so I can be another Starkey addict added to the many you have acquired over the last year.....:thumbup:
