What a beauty !!!

was surfing true ebay, and i found this table! first time ive seen one like this, but it looks AWESEOME !!!!!!

its right in my new top3 of nicest pooltables around !!

It certainly has a nice appearance; but I would be VERY cautious about such a table without playing on it first. The skirts seem extra long, and hang straight down (no angle). A taller player may find himself hitting his legs and knees on the skirt. A table that forces me to often change my usual stance is a table I would avoid.

I was going to buy that, but then I decided, for that price, I'd rather have a Cocobolo Diamond Pro and a Porsche. LOL. I agree, those pics look photoshopped, and what's the deal with those cues? The two on the ends are about 3 inches longer than the rest. 61 inchers? LOL.

i got a light brushed chrome/alu fetishisme. my g/f hates it, i LUV it :)

on the other hand, the stance issue could be a problem, you are right. the seller says its a custom table, anyone perhaps knows more about this table? who made it? do they have other nice custom tables?

the other photoshoped table has been on ebay for as long as ive been a member there, fully fotoshoped. :) plain stupid.
 
well the photos are definately manipulated, some of the stuff looks weird simply because the background was scrapped/erased and it's a pure white background, which definatley makes the cues look funny

the table and chalk...ect Im not sure it it is manipulated in a false sense or not, maybe just some bad photo manipulation as far as the contrast goes...

Im not sure, I am decent at photoshop, but not good enough to know how to create something like that or to even tell if there is foul play in the photos

Also in the pictures you can see that the cues are one of twelve (une de douze) while the table is one of fluffy (une de donze). For $94K they better spell it correctly.

totally agree, the balls and chalk all look like they came from another pic and pasted on the table. plus any picture of the table looks like it's a miniature, or 12" model of a table. for almost 100k don't ya think we would've heard about this company before?

LOL. :) How about polished aluminum? If so, then maybe a Brunswick Centennial would be the ultimate combo of aluminum and quality? I guess it doesn't have that futuristic look though, but I think they look awesome. I hope I get a chance to play on one someday. I've never seen one in person yet. LOL.

Aren't most of those fancy looking tables just designed as artsy furniture and free standing sculptures? My experience has been that tables that are designed to fit specific decor (like that first table up top) play really poor.

i dont have a big deal of experience on those fancy tables, but doesnt any table, once u changed the rails to K55 or K66, they have a good solid plate, and u put on a new simonis cloth, dont they all play the same? I cant really see how the exterior of the table could have an influence. BUT i could be wrong ofcourse.

I just think, any table that has been well installed and has the right cussions, cloth and slate, will play greath.

about the top table vs the centennial... id still prefere the top table. :) (pure based on looks ofcourse)...
 
Cuebacca, that Brunswick Centennial in the pic? If I'm not mistaken it resides in "The Cue Ball", Salem, Oregon's best hall. No booze, no smoking, no dancing girls...just pool. The place has been there since the early 60's. Cindy & I drive over 50 miles round trip, just to play there...
