I picked these up from a yard seller in rural NC. I know one is an adam-cue Galaxie, but anyone have an idea about the brown one with the Schmelke joint? It has an Adam lion logo sticker on the shaft that seems to be original. However I can't find it online anywhere.

Both are ADAM, cues

The one that has the Brass larger joint is also a Adam but it is from there Lower level catalog, I believe these are M/A-series cues. Many of them had names of Gangsters, like Dutch Schultz, Al Capone and the like.

Hope this helps, I believe if you goto the ADAM JAPAN website, they have the m/a series cues listed with pictures there..

Good Luck

Cool, if it was a custom order, they would have had to request it without the dots too. I'm thinking there is another catalogue out there somewhere.

My first real cue was an Adams in the early 60's. It was the fancy one with reverse points. I felt like a real pool player with that cue.

Dick Helmstetter started this line of cues and got wealthy for the first time. Then he moved on to Callaway golf and got VERY wealthy! They also added a line of Adams golf equipment.
