hi,

It is simple, veneer sheets glued and pressed together to form a muti colored cross section.

The stacks are used for a variety of decorative features on cue sticks.

Probably most easily noticed in the butterfly cue. Stacked veneers turned down at an angle showed the construction pretty easily.
