what are the best ferrules?

well lets look at it objectively the players making millions shooting the smallest balls at the toughest pockets.... typically prefer Brass ferrules

any old leather glued to that brass seems to work just fine...

all of you shane/ earl fans jaw dropped on that 10 foot table ... should know that snooker uses a 12 foot table .. AND the balls are smaller AND the pockets are tougher than you can possibly imagine..

and to a man they say that hard work dedication and practice is why they earn millions of dollars a year..


on the other hand 9ball players make hundreds of dollars per year with plywood shafts.. absurd tips and moon sand chalk...

but I'm a crackpot and geno the ad machine is awesome....


y'all need to figure out who is hustlin who......
 
It's a personal thing.. I prefer little to NO ferrule at all.. A carbon pad on the tip of the ferrule underneath the tip.. That's what I like the best.. Chuck Starkey makes a mean ferrule-less shaft!
