Hi everyone,

What billiard related item are you getting for Christmas?

Anyone buying a special cue or case to treat yourselves?

Anyone expecting a particular gift from your loved ones?

Anyone saving up for that particular cue/case for the Christmas season?

Come on, let's hear it.:)

Well, I will start first, I have a new Justis Case by Jack Justis--it is a perfect case in every little way.:) It is a little early, but to me it is my Christmas present, and the best one I have had. Thank you so much Jack!!!!!

Sad tale. Recently I bought the 3rd edition Blue Book of Cues.
The other day my daughter told my wife that she got me the
Blue Book for Christmas. She said, " Dad's going to love this!"
On a better note my wife got me an original Ray Schuler for
Christmas. I got to test hit it. Plays great, but she won't let
me shoot with it again till Christmas.

You can sell it to me...

...a good price?:D

A couple of schons......

Put it up for sale, Quick!!! The last thing you want to do, is to break your daughter's heart. I'll start the bidding, at $10 shipped.

I got the same lighter, last year for Christmas, from my wife. I think the price may have come down a good bit, since then. I've never carried it yet, it is too cool, to scratch up.

probally a few cue holders, sardo rack, new cloth and table mechanic and of course some chairs and lots of billiards nostalgia

My lovely wife is getting me a Guiseppe 3-cue case. I think I'm also getting Capelle's practicing pool

Well, I am having a cue made, BHQ ( brent ) which is kinda my Christmas gift, since i only am asking for money for christmas from my mom n stepdad.

So it'll be my late Christmas gift since it's going to take about 6months or so to make.

Richard,
I'm hoping for a replacement Maximizer bumper for my leather wrapped XBreaker, the one with the concave tip. Either black or white, doesn't really matter. Anyone know where I could buy one?
Thanks,
Rip

I can think of a few things I'd like but I won't be getting them! I do like the look of that Zippo though. Got a few of them but nothing pool related, I might have to change that.

from all the pool related zippo's this one is the nicest. i just looks so realistic, and when u open it, u got a different carving it seems :D

anyway for those interested:

ebay --> search for zippo pool , and ull find them all over the place. most shops have them at 23,97 (cheapest buy it now i found, most are at 24.99) buy it now. ==> http://cgi.ebay.com/Zippo-Lighter-P...942QQihZ014QQcategoryZ952QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

or the gold version
http://cgi.ebay.com/2005-Zippo-Stre...236QQihZ020QQcategoryZ952QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

But if u want it cheaper, u just need to wait untill there is one that starts at 1€ and hope u dont get outbid :D
http://cgi.ebay.com/ZIPPO-POOL-PLAY...647QQihZ017QQcategoryZ952QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem 0,99$ 6days left
http://cgi.ebay.com/Zippo-Lighter-P...547QQihZ004QQcategoryZ952QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem 15$ at the moment, and 7 hours left
http://cgi.ebay.com/Zippo-NEW-Pool-...713QQihZ015QQcategoryZ952QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem for 16$ 2days left
http://cgi.ebay.com/Zippo-Lighter-P...012QQihZ004QQcategoryZ952QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem 15$ 3days left

if some are bidding, i would put up a max of around 18-20$ nothing more. i bought mine for 16$

aparently many AZB'ers would like one. hehe imagine the next no reserve zippo getting 45 bids all from AZB'ers bidding wars :D

here are some other zippo designs, but they just dont look as cool. (actually they are ugly :D)

Wow that's nice.

Believe it or not... Perserverance!

This past yr alone i have faced many challenges that has tested my peserverance and yet have a few more to overcome.

Recently went thru the troubles of DUI, with about 8 months only being able to play pool half of the time, and the APA team had kicked me off at that time from both 8 & 9 ball.
With a roommate that's an a** trashed my truck, now waiting for it to get repaired, now that is going to be another 4 weeks or so.

In the meantime, i've had to play local stuff, but always wound up in the top 3 and been really concentrating on the "effective" practicing with little or no time i have.

Now the DUI thing is done, I just have to wait till get my truck back in order. Hopefully I can get back on track of things.

But like I said, I received perserverance, and definitely getting rewarded and would not trade it for the world. It's taught me a great deal of patience/gratitude on the table, whenever I ever do get a chance to! :)

As for Physical items, i've been planning on getting:

1. a New McDermott Cue, mine is getting shabby, and have had it oiver 10yrs.
2. Put a phenolic tip on my breaking cue - Just to get a feel of it.
3. A new Cue Case which can hold 3 butts and at least 3 shafts.
