No one is giving you the correct answer. Play 9 ball with the big balls on the snooker table. That'll help. Teaches you to AIM, AIM, AIM & hit the center of the pocket. Brian Capps one of our local champions plays 9 ball on a snooker table then when he goes to a 9ft pool table he is stealing.

Should i use the full set of 9 ball?or just cb and one ob?then practice potting ball?

If you've never played on a snooker table, you will know immediately when you try to use the rails, instead of straight potting. Snooker tables are very unforgiving if your even a little off.

The small balls, small pockets, and wide playing surface combine to give a challenge that can't be found on a 9' table with pool rails.

Besides all the reasons given it is just plain fun. I started a couple of months ago just playing about 4 hrs a week. It certainly magnifies your stroke flaws and mistakes like moving and not staying down. It has definitely helped my game even though my high inning is just 52 and I am having a lot of fun!

What I get from playing snooker after long spells of playing pool is a timely reminder that I'm not nearly as good a cueman as pool makes me think I am

PS.........if it isn't a 12 footer it isn't snooker as far as I'm concerned.

I couldn't agree more! Whenever I hear people say they play snooker and then they mention it's a 10 footer I feel like "oh, that's not snooker". Same as when people go on and on about their 9 ball game and then you find out it's just a bar box they play on....that's not pool!
