I was asked to take a Showcase cue in trade but don't know anything about the maker. I was told the cue sold new for $2700. I have posted some pics so you can see what I'm talking about.

Thanks

I may want to see it if I take it in trade but I don't know anything about the maker or teh values of their cues other than what I found on their website. which it seems the asking prices are high but don't see alot of them forsale in my area so don't know if they hold there value.

Interesting design, with what looks like a lot of detail work. Don't know if I like it or not. Nice figure to the wood though.

there've been a couple of threads on these cues. i think melissa herndon used to use one. that's what i tlooked like the last time i saw her on tv anyway

I know the people at Showcase and have had several of their cues.
The guy that builds the cues is Bruce Ryan, who is a very nice person.
Their big thing is the "True Hit" shaft that has a cocobolo insert.

Showcase makes a very good jump break cue called the "Buster", and they have one that is less expensive call the "monster" or something like that.
I just sold my Buster, and I wish I had kept it.

I could see this cue being valued originally for 2700.00, but like so many other cues on the secondary market, it would be hard to sell it for that much or close to it.
