What combination of butt and shaft do you use?

New Palmer (Vegas) butt with Fury Extreme shaft. Not advertized as LD but a lot lower than any regular shaft I have.

Fixing to order an OB Classic shaft for my Custom Palmer 80's" Third catalog #17 cue, with matching collars.

Useing Tiger Everest tips on all of my cues. Want to try an Elk Master Milk Dud on my playing cue when the tip wears out.

Schon STL 11 with a 1st generation 314 with kamui black medium tip. I have never even hit a ball with the Schon shaft. I hate the conical taper on them I prefer the pro taper.

Conical taper on a Schon shaft?? All my Schon shafts (and every other Schon shaft I've ever seen) have pro tapers...LONG pro tapers. Longer than most shafts. Maybe you got some sort of custom Schon shafts?

Holy Sneaky Batman. I don't think I have ever seen a high quality cue look so much like a house cue.

I use a Joss N7 production butt with a Bob Danielson (BDCues) SS360 shaft pro taper 12.75mm with tiger sniper tip. I think I might swap tips to a Kamui super soft next swap out.

Well balanced set up and in the right hands, can cause a worthy opponent to leave a pool hall with lighter pockets

I just got a dale Perry butt with a jacoby edge shaft. This is a 12mm shaft, I'm really impressed with it. The butt is not bad, so far very happy with cue.

Not true,while many that have responded play with a LD shaft,custom butt with matching shaft so far is the #1 response.

Art now playing with.... Manzino butt and shaft and lovin it.

But my new cue is almost done Custom butt made of John Davis blank

I think he meant if you total the percentages of pollsters that use an LD shaft on ANY combination of cues listed in the poll, the aggregate total is close to 60% of those answering the poll.

TAD to TAD:
I've got a Predator shaft that I got somewhere around 1991 that M. Webb made a matching joint collar for. I've tried using it several times but it's always back to the original TAD shaft.

Tim Scruggs butt and 2 original shafts. I'm not a fan of low deflection shafts.
