Different pin and rings. Don't think its a National. They were marked 'National' on the buttcap.I'm coming to the conclusion it's a cue maker starting out but I JUST found this photo
of National Cues (below). Has near exact design as mine tho veneer colors switched.
I looked REAL close (doubled up readers) for a mark, none.
Rings are black plastic and probable maple bars, tho I didn't find one cue online with that type of wide bars.
White-ish maple with Red & Blue veneers might say it's an American made cue.
Looking closer at the wrap, the clear is turning yellow-ish.
Delrin's first used on cues was in the 70s, can't be older than that.
So there's the slim chance it was made by a reputable cue maker, possibly in their teething days.
MEUCCI??? (wish but pins not his usual type)

I read some National cues were made without markings, sorta like a school exam. If it were me and the cue wasn't near perfect, it stay unsigned. Much like my earlier paintings.Different pin and rings. Don't think its a National. They were marked 'National' on the buttcap.
