What do you believe are the nicest Smoke Free (Non Smoking / including a strict policy against Electric Cigarettes) Pool halls in America?

Buffalo's for example, in New Orleans, is a really nice pool hall, but it is a bummer that the owner has kept it as Smoking Allowed, even during and Post Covid.

People may not realize how dangerous 2nd hand smoke is to their health, and it just makes me sick, being in a smoky pool hall for an extended amount of time.

Even Electronic Vape seems to bother me, for some reason.

This makes me curious about the nicest pool halls in America who have strict policies about not allowing any type of smoking, including Vaping.

Most well maintained, and nicest Non Smoking pool halls in America, in your opinion?

Thanks for any thoughts.

People enjoy Smoking, and being perfectly frank it is know to cause Cancer. MeaningSmoking like other thing are dangerious.

List of dangerous things are dangerious, like living in East End of Los Angeles Country, or any part of Los Anglese County with Air Pollution.

Pool Rooms in Arizona are all NO SMOKING, most are still dirty, smelly nasty places I will not venture.

Bull Shooter in Phoenix is Biggest P{mile of SHI*, Pool Room, and not because of smoking. Owner spend little on much but Gasoline to make Bank Deposit.

every single one of them gets my highest regards. it should only be allowed in a private club.

and i have stock in marlboro(altria)

If the room is privately owned it is a private club and it should be up to the owner who has invest his life's worth quite often to decide if he allows smoking or not. If the customers don't like it they can go elsewhere and if business drops off enough the owner will change the rules.

private club not privately owned two different things. one is open to the public. most states dont allow it in public access places. for good reason. and anyone that would now in the few places you can is a fool, especially if he works in his own place. he can die young.

Oncue in front royal Va it’s fabulous bar Dow stairs with pool room upstairs with a mini bar ‘mm Cole and staff do a great job and mile Peters is a great host for the pool room with a full kitchen and awesome food

In 1984 - in desperation after 3 years of selling tables in a recession and recovering tables until 1am - I rented two fancy tables on what was supposed to be a table-sales floor at $7/hr when the existing snooker hall was charging $4.20. I made SweetFA but it showed that people would pay more for quality. And, oh yes, NO SMOKING.

9’ Art Deco which I made in cherry, maple, gold leaf and steel in the long frame.
6x12’ B&W which I rebuilt & refinished.

Moved downtown in ’86 with 4 snooker and 7 pool. In ’88 the main Victoria newspaper had my photo on the first page of the second section (fame is so fleeting) promoting non-smoking which became required soon after. I love nice furniture - what would become of them with smoking?

In ’86 28% of Victorians smoked; pool players much more. All this kept the bar players in the bars where they mostly played for free. No loss to me, I got the majority who don’t want smoke and can pay.

I'm not a doctor. If this is a newish phenomenon and you're a bit older you might get checked for blood clots in your lungs. My dad complained for 2 years about even smelling a candle or campfire in a huge campground before it bothered him enough to go to the doctor. By that point it had become a major issue and almost killed him.

There are some great pool halls in California because smoking and vaping was abolished long ago by statute.
Take it outside and puff away or swallow some edibles but you can’t smoke indoors. And Sierra Billiards in Fresno
is an example of a splendid pool hall and it has the biggest array of alcohol brands between Sacramento and LA.
