What do you do with this position?

I'll have to handicap the lefties next time. Never show your hand!:)

Yeah, good solution, I always forget that close to the corner one. I actually like my odds best on that one, but I forget it when it counts.

This is fun. What about this one? white cueball

Rail first off the red maybe? Something more creative?

Edit- don't know why I always get the pool table...I drew it on the 3c??

Oops, sorry - I better run and take down this old video then! :)

righty version of the 2nd option from a game with a student (starts at 3:00)

That shot made quite an impression on my memory, thanks to the impression it made on my cue (as you'll see at the start of the clip). I banged my shaft on an overhead TV while switching hands walking around the table. Ouch :(

LOL

Did the same thing off the I-Beam in my basement the other day. Still haven't gotten it out yet. May not be possible.

Worst cue damage story ever: I had some repairs to the concrete and paint in my basement, and my father had an old big stand up industrial type fan, to dry it, and the protective facing didn't fit right anymore because it was old and rusted, etc. So I put it in the corner blowing down on the floor where it was needed, out of the way and all. At some point, after a couple drinks, the fan was kind of vibrating itself out of position, so I go over, holding my cue, and bent down to adjust it, and fed it right into the fan. You can't buff that out.

Oof, that's ugly. Granted, I can't come up with anything better. I can get the double the rail angle out of the corner or the speed necessary to get to ball 3, but I can't get both together. Too much speed, and I get a shallow angle to the 4th long rail. Not enough speed, and I can't get to the 3rd ball with all the reverse. Table dependent type shot, I guess. Anything else?

I would not have thought of it, it's like a free billiard clinic :).
I'm no masse master either, but actually surprisingly easy when you think of it, I made it in six tries.

Here's a beauty. I pulled off a really nice cross table shot with a little draw, and I split the uprights perfectly, but ran out of steam and nestled the white between the two. The balls aren't touching, but just a hair on either side. Was playing solo, and I got so pissed that I made the first shot and shafted myself that I knocked the balls around, but even looking at it, what is there? A little more off the rail and maybe a little masse? but tough to hit the ball anyway with the crowding. Hard to hit off either ball across the table as a righty. Can you go off the yellow into the corner? Still have to shoot down sharp on the ball. Maybe something I'm not seeing? Let's say you have to shoot an intentional safety and plead innocent, what's the shot?

Damn, that's a nice solution, I was stumped, didn't occur to me at all, always seems so obvious after

Hello! New to the forum but not to the game!!I don't know if anybody already suggested this option...http://CueTable.com/P/?@4AbYA4BWob4CREk4VWob4VTIl4Vcgw2VbNj2VDxl4VXUA4VYrY@
It can be made although the track varies with table and cloth/rail condition..
Sorry for the 9 ball view! Unable to find how to toggle to 3c table...

And that is with what spin? Center or hi-L?

I have the same trouble with WEI...always the pockets!

I use maximum left with a touch of bottom and a whipping action on the cue so that the spin carries over to the fourth rail. Other players use left only. In my experience, high english ruins this shot..
