That's interesting Chris. I've never thought of BB's and SW's playing anywhere near the same.
Truer words have never been spoken. I would suspect it plays closer to a South West because of the wood to wood joint.
Maybe you can take some clearer close up pictures. The inlays look very good from afar but I would like to see them in macro mode.

Well My Boar and My SW play just about the same accept that the SW is a bit of a stiffer taper on the shaft
