What do you have at all times?

I have a Cue Cube on my key chain at all time, just in case I'll end up in a pool hall without my cues and have to use a house cue.... but that rarely happens...
In my case (besides my cues  ) I carry:
- small bottle of baby powder
- a pack of "All American Smooth" cue papers
- Moose Head Bridge
- small towel
- one piece of Master blue chalk (in case the pool hall has a different brand)
- one piece of Triangle blue chalk (it better for humid conditions...)
- Tip-Pik
- a bottle of Cue Glide
- an old Sir Joseph glove (that I haven't used in 3 years...)

Umm, I thought this thread was about what you carry in your pockets. I think I have a short tip sander in my glove box. Other than that, nothing.

I usually won't play without my contacts. If I don't have them in then I probably won't play. That would be the only item to me that is a must have.

I think he just meant WITH you, not what's in your pockets specifically. With you can mean what's in your car too.

Ok, we need a ruling here? LOL

You don't have your case with you, at all times? Some player, you are.

Hey, sometimes I have the old Joss in the trunk in a cheap case with one small pocket. I just looked in that pocket. It has a piece of masters chalk. Woo Hoo, I'm up to a tip sander and a piece of chalk.

I was just thinking, slip-on ferrule/tips suck, but a new one beats an old beat up one. Does anyone carry a slip-on ferrule/tip? It might make a difference in some places.

No it's very straight. The shaft has a weensie bit of roll-out. pretty good for a 20 something year old cue.

I carry the following in my case..

Porcupine tapper
Ultimate tip tool
Hand towel attached to my case
Quarters in an old prescription bottle
Cue papers, which I rarely use
2 cubes of tan masters chalk
Sir Joseph glove, which I only use if I absolutely have to.
Eye drops..

My cues..

That's it...

Seriously, I think half the people responding to this are in need of a purse or something. I cannot imagine why one would carry more than 3 items. When I see a list of 10 or 15, I'm boggled how you manage to even get a set started! I mean, I'd need a check-off list or something just to keep track of it all and I would be sure to blame the missing tip-pick I usually carry as the culprit for why I lost that $100 set. I would probably just kill myself if I didn't have my gold chalk holder.

Besides cues, I was wondering what everyone here has on them at all times in terms of pool related items should a game come up.

Hmmm... for me its a little different... but this is what I bring with me on league night.

1. Mace - see #2
2. The "Rejection Hotline" Phone number for my area for guys on the other teams that always seem to be looking for love on league night -
3. A "crazy" cue ball. You would really be surprised at how long it takes some people to figure it out.
4. Plenty of money for music... Its funny - if you play that Titanic song over and over (like $15 worth), the other team gets a little uptight after about a half hour and it takes them right out of their game. If you don't believe me, try it.

(Jude... I-got a purse too with all kinds of NPR Junk in it)

Some of us just store stuff in there... I don't use all the stuff in my case every time I play pool... and the chalk holder is for when I'm feeling lazy or forgot my other 11 pieces in the box at home :D

Interesting thread.

Let's see... in order of importance:

- Tip Pik
- Ultimate Tip Tool
- Travel size baby powder (for those irritating rashes)
- Box of 12 Master Blue chalk (although it's never full)
- Q Claw (for when there is nowhere to place your cue)
- Q Smooth burnishing papers
- 1 towel
- 1 pen
- Eye drops (contact wearer)
- Cues... or should this one be first???

1. Moosehead Portable Bridge
2. Tip Tapper
3. Porper cue holder
4. Master chalk (Blue x 2)
5. Plain white handtowel

That's all.

It would be funny to see who can carry the most:

Most of the stuff I've read I use some of this and that but I do carry

Extra spots
Small notepad/pen
State ID card
Joint weight
Silver Half Dollar
1960 ish willards scuffer

That Rejection HotLine is funny, I have never even heard of that before.
Damn I feel sorry for Single guys.

Some really good responses here. I was indeed referring more to what you carry if you're not carrying your cues/case with you as well.

For instance, you're going out to a bar with a friend(not planning on playing any pool at all); and a proposition game breaks out. Do you have chalk in your pocket? Scotch-brite? A shaper/scuffer?
