What do you have at all times?

Some of us just store stuff in there... I don't use all the stuff in my case every time I play pool... and the chalk holder is for when I'm feeling lazy or forgot my other 11 pieces in the box at home :D

I think we've interpreted the original post differently. It wasn't about what you actually carry but what you feel you need. My case has a bridge-head, two tip-tools, burnishing paper and cleaner, none of which I use terribly often.

After my cue, all I need is cash and my keys.

Some really good responses here. I was indeed referring more to what you carry if you're not carrying your cues/case with you as well.

For instance, you're going out to a bar with a friend(not planning on playing any pool at all); and a proposition game breaks out. Do you have chalk in your pocket? Scotch-brite? A shaper/scuffer?

In that case, all I bring is my golden right arm and a lot of heart. LOL

At all times...:D :D :D

Just curious, that is a Springfield Armory XD .45 ACP Tactical with 5" barrel? Correct? Been a while :p

Also, is it pre-2006? Just wondering because pre-2006 versions of the XD were protected with a metal treatment called Burinal™. Some who own pistols with the Burinal™ treatment have reported significant rust problems - especially those who carry the XD against their skin. Fortunately, current versions of the XD are being manufactured with a treatment called Melonite™, which is the same process (albeit with a different trade name - apparently for copyright reasons) as the near-legendary Tenifer™ coating used on Glocks.

Good eye sir...its indeed the Springer XD .45 Tac 5in.
All of the xd's in .45acp have the new finish. I have an older XD-9 with the Burinal...zero rust issue with me. I course I know how to properly take care of my weapons. Amongst XD owners its pretty well known that the rust issue is a true non factor with the older finish. Its basically a "blah blah blah" created by Glock owners at Glocktalk. Many consider the XD a finer pistol than the Glock...it has bigger rails & is equally reliable. The finish was the one slightly weak spot compared against the Tenifer. Truthfully it was as not good as the legendary Tenifer...but equal to most other "blued" pistols. This all changed with the release of the XD in .45acp...the new finish puts the XD on equal ground with the Glock...and maybe now slightly ahead. I'll never own another Glock after I had to trade both my G30 & G26 due to them being E series and the recall. Many of the E series had the small Glock rails break off in the rear.;)
XD for me....I've ran several thousand rds of hollowpoints through both my XD's without one single malf of any kind.;)
Edited to add: I have seen one XD-9 that had rust issues. It was owned by a kid that handled it often and had never cleaned or oiled the pistol in all of the 3 years he'd owned it. The Tenifer in the same situation would of been fine. So as with most any firearm...maintenance is the key.

Certainly a fine sidearm. Nobody will be firing air barrels at you without getting some love in return eh? :p

In that case it would be my cues and chalk :) I keep my case in my car unless I'm doing maintenance, so I'm always ready for a game anywhere I go.

Ummm..... no.

Besides cues, I was wondering what everyone here has on them at all times in terms of pool related items should a game come up...

If I don't have my case and cues with me I have nothing pool related with me.

My own, you should see it it's incredible. Don't lump me in with anyone just because I like someone's product. I haven't defended him at all on these forums, if you haven't noticed. That was an attempted light-hearted poke, but apparently you're a sensitive little girl ninja... didn't know they had those.

PS. I bow down to the farley ninja...

Key word was ninja, forget the "sensitive little girl" part, as I don't get offended at all.... :p

If you do infact feel the need, I will challenge you to a duel of wits...

 I don't feel the need at all. What's wrong with a little light-hearted poking? Are you some sort of internet bear ninja that shouldn't be poked?

Whew! That's what I thought you were asking.

I don't carry any pool related items with me. I used to carry a scuffer on my keychain, but I don't recall ever using it.

INCONCEIVABLE! I have too seen it. Twice. Now to the battle of wits... you wouldn't happen to have any Sicilian in you?
