What do you like about certain pros?

I am thinking Billy could use some pre digested material.

Let's start with women pros.

Black Widow and Striking Viking all have a strong command of English and using full sentences to speak.
Their nicknames are just easier to spell

Mike Sigel could talk his way through a phonebook and make it interesting.

Billy might need some younger guys to look up to.

Who would you recommend?

Fedor did good not to get pulled into the chit chat at the Mosconi Cup. His reservation is intellligent.

Restricting this to highly visible players, the best role models of those currently active, as far as professionalism is concerned, in my opinion are:

Niels Feijen
Francisco Bustamante
Ralf Souquet
Justin Bergman
Thorsten Hohmann
Lee Van Corteza
Omar Al Shaheen
Ko Ping Chung
Ko Pin Yi
Shane Van Boening
Alex Kazakis
Chris Robinson

These guys never seem to lose their cool at the table.

For animation, I like Alex Pagulayan, Jayson Shaw, and Josh Filler. These players always draw a crowd with their special blend of excellence and animation.

Loree Jon Hasson looks like an ex-flame in my life, so I have a soft spot for her.

I feel that way when I see Filipino pros. Sometimes I want to ask if I am related to them.

Is it that type of soft spot?

I love Efrens demeanor at the table.I have never seen him loose his temper,if he makes an error he just laughs it off. I never see him complain or play games with rack.

There is a class of billiard pros that play with a sense of flair. Where they play shots for the crowd.
As if they understand what it means to be on the side lines. Billy has loss all ability to be relatable.

No I am not related to her. I just find her extremely attractive.

I'm an only child. So there are certain areas of the country that I wouldn't have a date...............

Very true, and the patron saint of such players is Alex Pagulayan, who works a room as well as any player since Minnesota Fats.

Jeanette Lee is American, born in Brooklyn, NY. Why would she not have a strong command of English?

i thought saying they speak well contrasted with Billys limited communication skills.

Can you explain why Billy doesnt have the same command of English as Black widow or the viking

as for your question there are some pros that dont speak well. billy being one of them.

If my memory serves, Jeanette Lee attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science. She is a far greater scholar than most people realize, and she possesses excellent communication skills.

Didn't bustamante break his cue, leave whats left on the ground, then walk out, after jawing a ball in the world championship in the early-mid 2000s?

I didn't know that, but I doubt you imagined it. FYI, SVB often slammed his stick on the ground for years, but I haven't seen him do it for years. Like Bustamante, he learned long ago how to conduct himself like a role model whom young players can emulate.

This is Earl being hassled by a sensational interviewer looking for some bad reactions to make Earl look silly.
