What do you like in a break cue?....

I used to but after a while the ferrull always used to end up cracking. I bought a Spark Break which for the money is a very decent breaking cue. I then got the BK and to be honest theres not to much difference between the way they break.(when the BK had a leather tip on it.)

Spark Break? Where did you get that? Is there a website?

I used a Sledgehammer for about a year and mostly really liked it, but lost the cueball a lot. At the BCA Nationals in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago, I bought a (Jerico) Stinger ('cause blackjack was good to me!). The Sledge (19 oz) hit harder, the Stinger (18 oz) has more control. I prefer the Stinger. JMHO. (ps...the sledge is for sale...)

Yes, I prefer the Stinger over the SH myself.

I always wonder why they did not put a joint collar on the Stinger.
