What do you think about neon pool?

Actually, I was not trying to find out if serious player would consider playing neon pool. I just want to know if any of you have tired it, and if you have, what do you think?

I can see that it is a game catered to casual players, and I would like to hear some feedback if possible.

try playing Black Light pool when its pitch black at 3:00am...

straight pool, to 100.. 1 dollar a ball... man.. what a blast that becomes!!!!!

i cant tell you when i had that much fun playing such a serious game..lol..

I have never tried it, but it might be fun at a party. The downfall is the cost and I think the novelty would were off quickly.
 
I'm not sure if it was neon pool but at a party in 1965 I played a couple of games in complete darkness with a strobe light as the only illumination. With Black Sabbath playing on the stereo it was a mind expanding experience. Or maybe it was those little purple pills.:eek:
It was great to young and stupid.

Is there any pool hall in your area with neon pool?

If a black table with black felt is out in a complete dark room, with blue light and neon pool balls, the player cannot really see the pocket when he shoots, is that how most pool halls do it?

Do they also provide cues that are black, with only the ferrules that glow in the dark?
 
Ahhhhh a joint in your mouth, a drink by your side, and neon pool. Far f****** out. The serious player is too serious.Johnnyt
